He was predeceased by: his mother Ruby Davis; his son Hugh Housewright; and his brothers, George D. Housewright and Donnie Housewright. He is survived by: his wife Jenny Housewright; his children, Chris Housewright (Christy), Anthony Housewright (Kristy), Brandon Greenwell (Patricia) and Kelly Williams; his grandchildren, Emily Housewright, Arielle Housewright, Rachelle Sandine, Amber Housewright, Cody Williams, Kyndal Shultz, Tyler Williams, Lucas Greenwell, Conner Greenwell, Ella Hall and Braelynn Bradley; his great grandchildren, Hugh, Michael and Zaylee; his close friends, Bill Dorton, Hubert Gardener and Gene Bradshaw "Tadpole" (Linda); and his pets, Scooter and Trey. He is also survived by loving husband, caring father, and loved his grandkids.
In lieu of flowers and per his wishes, memorial contributions may be made to the local humane society.
