He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Brooks and Mattie Brooks; his daughter Donna Shipley; and his brothers, JD, Robert, Gene and Jimmy Brooks.
He is survived by: his daughter Tina (Keith Henderson); his granddaughter Jodi (Chris Parker); his great grandchildren, Clare and Graham Parker; his son-in-law Joe Shipley; and his brother Garland Brooks. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and church family and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Carter-Trent Funeral Home, Church (1115 US-11W, Church Hill, TN 37642). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location.
