He was predeceased by: his parents, Dee Cooper and Molly Cooper; his wife Juanita Barton Cooper; and his siblings, Imogene Ratledge (Hugh), Mary Lena Altom (Jack), Cecil Cooper, J. D. Cooper and Doug Cooper.
He is survived by: his daughter Robin Ford (Jeff); his granddaughter Taylor Hoffman; his great grandchildren, Mya and Zaiden Bellamy; his girlfriend Linda Wilmoth; his partner's child Glenn Hall; his brothers, Roy Cooper (Kay) and Robert Cooper (Betty); and his sister-in-law Betty Cooper (Doug). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
