He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Nicholas Davis and Roxie Woods; and his brothers, Jerry Davis, Wayne Davis and Bill Davis.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Skeens; his children, Nick Davis Mark Davis (Barbara Williams) and Margaret Carver (Hobert Ferrell); his grandchildren, Hunter Davis, Rachel Davis (Lance Boone), Megan Carver (Derrick Mallory) and Justin Carver; his great grandchildren, Levi Davis, Bentleigh Davis, Riley Davis, Drakin Mallory and Jesperleigh Mallory; his siblings, Blanche Gilliam (Roger), Pauline Clark, Joan McClellan, Jean Combs (Eddie), Phyllis Scicm, Michael Davis (Cynthia) and Ronnie Davis (Donna); his close friends, Eric Cradic, Chad Britton and Elmer Stoltzfus; and his pet Daisy. He is also survived by four grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
