He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Whalen, and Carol Whalen, Sr.. He is survived by: his daughter Megan Whalen of Manhattan, IL; and his siblings, Kathy Whalen, Joan Parker (Mike), Marty Whalen (Barb Lynch) and Jim Whalen (Robin). He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
