He was predeceased by: his wife Ella Mae Weems Hicks; and his parents, Joseph Hicks and Ella Bowers Hicks. He is survived by: his granddaughters, Nakisha Graham and Chenoa Pruitt (Mark); his children, Ricky Hicks and Angela Graham; his stepchildren, Freda Robinette (Grover), Tammy Tankersley (Jeff) and David Smith (Penny); and his siblings, Phyllis Jean, Eileen and Kenny. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
