She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Simpson and Nina Henry Simpson; her husbands, Robert Hensley and Buddy Sampson; and her brothers, Garfield and Clifford Simpson.
She is survived by: her sisters, Juanita Williams, Patsy Dykes, Peggy Harrold and Ruth Lemmons. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Johnson - Arrowood Funeral Home (320 Grandview St, Church Hill, TN 37642). A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 at 2:45 PM.
In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make a memorial contribution to Mt. Mitchell Church Cemetery.
