He was predeceased by: his father Richard Pate; and his sister Ann Gray. He is survived by: his daughters, Melissa Light (Jason) and Lori Stokes (Robert); his stepson Eddie Necessary (Courtney); his grandchildren, Ashley Rush (Cody), Patton Stokes and Holden Light; his great grandchildren, Lily, Lola and Evelyn Rush; his nephew Jason Gray; and his cousins, Lindy, Richard Allen, Bob and Paula. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
