It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virgina Nell Kirk of Chuckey, Tennessee, who passed away on October 4, 2021, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Raines and Dollie Hammer Raines; her siblings, Barbara Brockwell, Wanda Dykes, Diana Kay King, Jim Raines, Ivan Raines and Cecil Raines; and her uncle Winward Hammer.
She is survived by: her husband Calvin Kirk; her son Richard; her daughter-in-law Sherry Kirk; her daughters, Angie (Keith Fortner) and Diana Kirk-Parker (Bobby Parker); her grandchildren, Megan Thornburg, Danielle Thornburg, Jacob Fortner, Erin, Casey Broyles, Katelin, Tyler Bledsoe, Tiffany, Toni Miranda and Kayden Parker; her great grandchildren, Isaac, Callie, Haven and Piper; her sister Geraldine "Judy" Thornburg; her cousins, Debbie Chapell, James and Patsy Sexton; and her sisters-in-law, Norma Jean Brown and Juanita Kirk. She is also survived by several nieces & nephews.
