She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Rector and Amy Plemmons Rector; her husband Dale Norton; and her siblings, Frances, Edna, Strobie, Clara, Louise, Carl, Fred, Herman, Floyd, Cleophas, Howard and Glenn.
She is survived by: her children, Sharon Honea (Paul) and Gary Rice (Deborah); her grandson Phillip Rice (Sable); her great grandchild Riley Anne Rice; and her close friend Penny Senisson.
