With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary R. Teglas of Chuckey, Tennessee, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 5, 2025 at the age of 80. She was predeceased by: her son Christopher Teglas; her parents, Wallace Darnell and Marie Darnell; and her brothers, Clark Darnell, Ralph Darnell and Howard Darnell.
She is survived by: her husband Butch Teglas; her children, Pam Davis (Joel) and Matt Teglas (Julie); her grandchildren, Forrest Davis, Spencer Davis, Adeline Teglas and Clara Teglas; and her sister Betty Cutshall (Bobby). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home (125 Idletime Dr, Greeneville, TN 37743). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Horse Creek Church of God (900 Old Jonesboro Rd, Chuckey, TN 37641).
