He is survived by: his wife Betty; his children, Joseph Kovalick Jr. of Chuckey, Michael Kovalick of Chuckey, Frances (George Baker) of Chuckey, Douglas (Delynn Backus) of Chuckey, David Backus of Chuckey, Paulene (Jeffery Rutter), Dewitt (Barbara Backus) and Sheila (Byron Pitcher); his siblings, Daniel Kovalick of Michigan, Elaine Helvig of Pennsylvania and William; his sister-in-law Janice Osborn; and his close friends, Mary Bitner, Harold and Donna Delhagen.
