He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlow McKinney and Anna Ruth Anderson McKinney; his wife Shirley McKinney Sakoda; and his nephew Josh McKinney. He is survived by: his children, James "Jamey" McKinney, Dennis "Denny" McKinney (Denise), Kelley McKinney-Dalton (David), Jacob "Jake" Nieder and Prudance; his brother Joel McKinney (Sandra); his grandchildren, Emily, Reilly and Connor; his niece Sarah McKinney; and his close friend Rick Brooks.
