He was predeceased by: his parents, Daryl Turnipseed (Betty Turnipseed) and Betty Turnipseed; and his border collie Hub. He is survived by: his significant other Cathy; his pets, Mattie, Amy and Carly; his daughter Angela Moruzzi; his son-in-law John of Thornton, CO; his son Brian of Statesville, NC; his sister Darla Mixson; and his brother-in-law Keith Waters of Grand Prairie, TX. He is also survived by his parents, sister, wife and children.

Until the pandemic began, they traveled extensively, marking places off their wish lists.
