He is survived by: his wife Thelma McElroy; his children, Jeff McElroy (Monica), Melissa Sparks (Todd) and Becky Gregory (Barry); his grandchild Avery Sparks; his daughters, Sophie Sparks, Parker Sparks, Cameron Potts and Alyssa Gunn; his brother Carl McElroy (Betty); and his pets, Sweet Pea and Blue.
