He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Hartford and Verna Beatrice Davis Hale; his daughter Sherry Storm Brandywine "Brandy" Hale; and his siblings, James William Hale, Donald Everett Hale, Daniel Richard Hale and Betsy Diane Hale.
He is survived by: his siblings, Larry Hartford Hale of McMinnville, Charles Ronald Hale of McMinnville, Terry Douglas "Doug" Hale of Philadelphia, PA, Laurel Paulette Hale Taylor of McMinnville, Rebecca Lynn Hale of McMinnville and Betty Bounds of McMinnville. He is also survived by 17 nieces and nephews.
