With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frieda Douglas Haney of Christiana, Tennessee, born in Rutherford, Tennessee, who passed away on October 14, 2022. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Douglas and Lydia Robertson Douglas; her husband Jesse L. Haney; and her siblings, Mary Ellen Smotherman, Clara Smotherman, Betty Batey, James Douglas, Richard Douglas, Melvin Douglas, Willie Douglas, Mack Douglas, Chester Douglas and Linda Travis.
She is survived by: her sons, Billy Porter (Tina) and Jason Haney (Jessica); her siblings, Joan Faulk (Calvin), Leonard Douglas (Kathleen) and Bobby Douglas; and her grandchildren, Heather Powers (Christian), Ryleigh Porter, Jeremiah Haney and Jacklyn Haney.
