He is survived by: his brother Jerry Howard; his wife Brenda Nipper Fann; his children, Darren Fann (Frances), Jana Rooker (Ken) and Walter Fann (Peggy); his grandchildren, Shelby Lynn Fann, Dakoda Wayne "Cody" Rooker, Darren James "Jay" Fann and Casen Andrew Rooker; and his siblings, Melvin Fann (Mary Ann), Louise Davenport, Ray Fann (Juanita), Eula DuBois, Alta McDonough (Paul) and Rachel Stewart.
