He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Thomas, Sr. and Irene Insell Thomas; and his son Wayne Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Martha Faye Thomas; his daughters, Tammy Patricia Thomas of Christiana and Virginia Lynn Thomas of Murfreesboro; his grandson Railyn Thomas Mills of Murfreesboro; and his sister Linda Leverette of Shelbyville.
