He was predeceased by: his father Phillip "Wholeo" Smotherman; his grandparents, Tommy, Bertha Smotherman and Gene Gleaves; and his cousin Nathan Gleaves.
He is survived by: his mother Shirley Herman (Eddie); his son Austin Eugene Smotherman; his siblings, Josh Smotherman, Jeremy Armstrong (Brandy) and Shelby Vannoy (Coty); his grandmother Marjorie Faulk; his aunt Cathy Adams; his uncles, Chuck Gleaves and Bud Smotherman (Robin); his stepgrandmother Lisa Gleaves; and also Kennadi Dubois. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nephews, and cousins.
