She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Lawrence Barrett, Jr.; her parents, Bedford Bowman and Sara "Sally" Bowman; her daughter Kat Hockett; her son-in-law Bobby Hockett; and her siblings, Ray, Wayman, Fred, Beachum Bowman, Olene Davis and Jewel Hesson.
She is survived by: her children, Charles L. "Skip" Barrett III (Joan), William Dale Barrett (Sandi) and Mendy Samford (Dan); her sister Savannah Morgan; her nephew Edward "Snook" Bowman; and her nieces, Janie Arnette and Barbara "Gail" Belt. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 34 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
