It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Willie Payne of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on August 23, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Larry Payne; his parents, Eva Mae Payne and James Yancey; and his siblings, Eric L. Payne and Gloria Jean Taylor.

He is survived by: his wife Katherine W. Payne; his children, Cedric Payne, Tametric Payne and Jacob Johnson (Kathleen); and his siblings, Michael Muhammad, Darlene Caudle (DeWayne), Regina Worsham and Debra Mitchell (Zachary). He is also survived by other family members and friends.
