With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Russell Young Sr. (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on July 14, 2018 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parent Ira Bruce; his wife Mary Young; his grandson Joe Hayes; and his brothers, Bruce Young and Frank Young.

He is survived by: his parent Marie Young; and his children, Bill Young Jr., Peggy Merritt (Ed), Susan Goins (Terry) and Sally Staples (Mark). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
