He is survived by: his wife Mary Myers Ortwein; his children, William Scott Ortwein (Melinda) of Atlanta, Georgia Ortwein and Frederick Lee Ortwein (Rachel) of Chattanooga; his grandchildren, Mary Alexander, Clara Parker, Olivia Ray, William Ortwein, Riley Beavers and Aidan Beavers; his aunt Alice Marie Ortwein Billingsley (Gilbert); and his uncle James Ortwein (Aline).
