Shelmon of Chattanooga, TN; his children, Valerie Jones (Dean) of Lafayette, GA, Janet Ward (Michael) of Lithonia, GA, William Shelmon, Jr. (Bonita) of Lathrup Village, MI, Sharon Govan (Joseph) and Tamala Shelmon of Chattanooga, TN; his grandchildren, Anita Gowdy (Tommie) of Chattanooga, Marcellus Shelmon (Nascine) of Lithonia, GA, Joia Govan of Decatur, GA, David Shelmon, Bryan Shelmon of Lathrup Village, MI, Jamal Govan of Nashville, TN, Christa Shelmon of Los Angeles, CA and Darika Scott of Memphis, TN; his great grandchildren, Jaila Coker of Las Vegas, NV, Janae Gowdy of Chattanooga, TN and Micah Shelmon of Lithonia, GA; his siblings-in-law, Gregory Holmes (Angie), Delores Henderson, Rosa Morgan, Gloria Moorer, Hannah Burton and Lucille Stubblefield; and his friends, Emma Lee Jones, Bobby Gordon and Robert Stubblefield. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
