With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William George McCorkle of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Miami, Florida, who passed away on May 25, 2021 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Wilson and Lily Lane McCorkle; and his parents-in-law, Earl and Clara Carr. He is survived by: his wife Gina McCorkle of Chattanooga; his sister Sue Lester; his sister-in-law Mitzi Underwood of Normandy; his niece Carla Chu of Normandy; and his nephew Cody Lester.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial donations be made in his honor to the McKamey Animal Center, 4500 N. Access Road, Chattanooga, TN 37415.
