He was predeceased by: his father George Franklin, Sr. (Roselee); his siblings, Richard, Charlie, George Jr., Shelby, Elnora, Georgia Mae, Elsie, Bobbie Jean, Louise and Arlene; his wife Phylliss Franklin; his son-in-law Calvin Moore Sr.; his adoptive parents, Joe Cross and Catherine Cross; and his great-nephew Marco Collins.
He is survived by: his daughters, Yolanda Moore and Tawana Franklin (Caregiver); his niece Bellnique Moon (Rahman); his grandchildren, Calvin Moore Jr. (Talina), Tevin Moore (Jaza), Cevin Moore (Keeya), Charlie Moore Jr., Iakia Jackson, Relaya Jackson, Marlon Kashun Kennemore, Miranda Preston, Ciante, Robert Rashad Chaney, Lorie Walker, Kalvontay Moore, Brielle Moore, Jade Moore, Kennedi Moore, Ilan Moon, Felicia, Klayia Williams, Dymond Walker, Janoah and Charlie Janey Moore; his sisters, Dorris Boozier Chattanooga of Atlanta, GA, Rosemary Ellison of Atlanta, GA, Annette Franklin of Atlanta, GA and Joann Stozzier of Atlanta, GA; his siblings-in-law, Betty Gordon of Atlanta, GA, Barbara Finley, Linda Williams, Blinda Frazier, Calvin Simmons (Po-Slim) and Ronald Simmons (Ruby); his nephew Robert Chaney III; his sisters, Thelma Chaney and Rita Turner; his daughter-in-law Dalphey Moore; his friend Wesley Hood of Atlanta, GA; his nieces, Wanda Collins and Carmen Sales (Anthony); and his great-nephews, Marcus and Eundra Porter. He is also survived by other relatives, adopted grandkids and friends.
