He was predeceased by: his wife Wilma Jean "Jeanie" Baxter; his parents, Jimmie Baxter and Flora Baxter of Bradley County, Tennessee.; his children, Tina Adell Feltman (Wendell) and Walter Donald "Donnie" Baxter Jr. (LeAnn); and his grandchildren, Amara Hale (Alex), Derek Terrell, Julianna Baxter, Cassy Baxter, Liah Baxter and Tristan Baxter. He is also survived by two step grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and four step-great-grandchildren.
