She was predeceased by: her parents, Vivian Ruffin and J. C. Ruffin; her husband Thomas Ward; and her son Ivan Hill, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Derrick Ruffin and Roberta Brown (Terrance); and her siblings, Thomas Ruffin of Chattanooga, Lenar Ruffin, LaWayne Ruffin of Nashville, Carolyn Blackwell (Raymond) and Beverly Browdy. She is also survived by grandkids, great grandkids, nieces and nephews.
