Virginia Schimpf Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 5, 2020, at the age of 91, Virginia Schimpf (Chattanooga, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Peggie Dixon and George Dixon; her husband Gene; and her brother George Dixon, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Eugene H. Schimpf I (Buck), George B. Schimpf (Betty Ann), Peggie Schimpf Hixson and Gary D. Schimpf (Trish); her grandchildren, George S. Schimpf (Elizabeth), Jenny Goins (Chris), Molly Schimpf (Benon King), Rett Hixson (Rebecca), Sam Hixson (Therese), Virginia Hixson, Blair Eacret (Greg), Henley Schimpf, Ashton Herndon, Georgia Schimpf, Ava Schimpf and Ryan May (Courtnie); and her great grandchildren, Zoey Schimpf, Oliver Schimpf, George Solomon Schimpf, Alex Eacret, Scarlet Eacret, Laura Kate May and Libby May. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions, there will only be a graveside ceremony burial at The National Cemetery where Mom will rest with Dad for eternity on November 9th at 1 o'clock.
