We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2024, at the age of 67, Virginia Rose Greene (Chattanooga, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Chevius Greene and Tressa Greene; and her niece Brittany Greene. She is survived by: her brothers, Dr. Tom Greene (Janice) and Dr. Richard Greene (Millie); her niece Dr. Courtney Vance (Joe); and her nephews, James Andrew Greene (Virginia), Tyler Wells Greene, Dr. Stephen Greene (Melissa Greene) and Dr. Will Greene (Ginny Greene). She is also survived by great nieces and great nephews; and generations of extended family.

“She was my neighbor, for 18 years. She was amazing. Being in the medical field, I simply was in awe of how she managed, and lived her life. She will be missed, but has left a great joy in my life, having known her, and sharing just a small part of it with her it. We had a lot of laughs, and you would be hard pressed to find her not busy, and going in that scooter! Thank you Lord, for bringing Ginger into my life.”
