With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vieva Lynn Griffey (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on September 30, 2022 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Lonzo and Lillie Mae Ellis Lynn; her husband William Ralph Griffey; and her siblings, Carl, Hershel, Everett, Ernest, Manuel, Avin, Geneva Branrum, Beulah Lynn, Evelyn Shull, Velma Scoggins and Amy Miller.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Griffey of Harrison, TN and Eva Neil of Chattanooga, TN; and her sister-in-law Delores Griffey of Cropwell, AL. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
