She was predeceased by: her father Horace Strickland, Jr.; and her stepfather Oscar Leon Tatum. She is survived by: her mother Laverta Tatum; and her siblings, Sharon Simms, Majorie-Ann Strickland, Denise Bryant (Rodney) and Kenneth Strickland (Linda).
