He was predeceased by: his fathers, James Raymond Engel and Gerald McMann. He is survived by: his children, Taylor Engel of Chattanooga and Evan Engel of Chattanooga; his brother Thomas Bottolfsen of Minneapolis, Minnesota; and his grandson Jake Engel of Chattanooga.
