He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Qualey and Helen Logan Qualey; his brother Dr. John Robert Qualey; his former wife Jean Taylor Qualey; and his daughter-in-law Renee Qualey.
He is survived by: his wife Judi Welch; his sons, Roger (Elizabeth) and Mark; his grandchildren, Evan (Ali), Taylor, Luke, Anna and Logan; his great grandchildren, Jane, Mila and Mac; and his nieces, Jenny Roberts and Robin Grandoff (Stephen). He is also survived by great nieces and nephews and many friends.
