He is survived by: his children, Darren Bowles (Tresicia), Greg Bowles (Monica), James Landrum (Paulette), Stephanie Ellis (Leo), Angelia Franklin, Lisa Franklin-Cattum and Karen Walton; his siblings, James Otto Bowles, Jr. (Hazel), Major Bowles (Sylvia), Jean Bowles and Shirley Ryan; and his sister-in-law Joyce Bowles. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends.
