She was predeceased by: her parents, Joshua Jackson and Birdie Lee Holt Seagroves; and her siblings, Juanita Wright, Raymond and Kenny Seagroves.
She is survived by: her husband Paul McAurthar Compton; her children, Paula Burgess (David) and Darrin Compton (Josie); her siblings, Charles Seagroves (Alice), Barbara Harris (Don) and Kathryn Tinker; and her grandchild Devin Nation (Amanda). She is also survived by several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
