With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Zuckerman of Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on October 16, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Morris A. Hodes and Mary Roseman Hodes; her husband Dr. Joseph I. Zuckerman; her brother Alvin David; and her sister-in-law Elizabeth "Liz" Hodes.
She is survived by: her daughter Janet; her son-in-law Rich Wile of Chesterfield, MO; her son Larry; her daughter-in-law Sandy Zuckerman of Chattanooga, TN; her grandchildren, Katy Wile (Clay Cowan) of Brooklyn, NY, Tim, Andrea Wile of Dallas, TX and Jay Zuckerman of Chattanooga, TN; her great grandchildren, Henry Wile and Caroline Wile; and her nieces and nephews, Leslie, Ron Swichkow of Tampa, FL and Andy Hodes of Chattanooga, TN. She is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
