Stephanie Mayes Obituary
Stephanie Anne Mayes was born on August 21, 1970 to Luther Smith and Bobbie Ross Mayes in Chattanooga, TN. She departed this life on October 18, 2018 at Parkridge Hospital after a brief illness. Stephanie was educated in the Chattanooga school system. She was employed by several businesses in the city, KFC on Broad Street and Cleaning Solutions at Memorial Hospital.
She was a great cook, loved being around people and dancing was one of her favorite past times. Spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family was everything to her. Stephanie did love the Lord. In her later years she attended First Centenary United Methodist Church where her sister Sonia is a member. She was preceded in death by her father, Luther Smith; brothers, Luther Smith, Jr., baby Luther Smith and Kevin Smith.
She leaves to cherish her memory her mother, Bobbie J. Mayes; stepmother, Audrey Smith; daughter, Myra Mayes; son, Frank Lovinggood; grandchildren, Myael, Aypraih, and Ava Jania; brothers, Kenneth Smith, Vincent Mayes, Vincent Florence (Nita) of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Sonia Mayes, Sandy Mayes, Camelia Davis, Sonia Bennett of Nashville, TN, Sandra Smith, and Diane Smith of Atlanta, GA.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, October 27, 2018 in the chapel at John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Avenue, 622-9995.
