She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rose Winer and Meyer Winer; her daughter Melanie Young (David Ransom); her brother David Winer (Finette); and her niece Allison Winer Koeneman (Steven). She was also cherished by cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, Sonia requested contributions be made in her memory to the following charities: Chattanooga Theatre Centre (Youth Theatre), Chattanooga Zoo, and McKamey Animal Rescue Center.
