It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Marie Watters (Chattanooga, Tennessee), who passed away on April 4, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dean Watters; her siblings, Charles Pyatt and Charmaine Wiebke; and her parents, John Pyatt and Sibyll Pyatt.
She is survived by: her children, Vicki Hooper, Jeffrey Watters, Cindy Hoelke and Jon Watters. She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Hamilton Funeral Home and Cremation Services (4506 Hixson Pike, Hixson, TN 37343). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 at the Chattanooga National Cemetery (1200 Bailey Ave, Chattanooga, TN 37404).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Baptist International Missions, Inc. in her honor.
