He is survived by: his children, Sherman Haney, III and Marcy Gauntt (Terry); his grandson Kyree Sherman Haney; his sister Vivian Ferrell; his niece Victoria Ross; his nephew Harold Ferrell, Jr. (Sheila); his sister Tanya; his brother-in-law James Carter; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Aaron, Chape, Josh, Ebony and Monia; and his friend Gloria Williams (Watson).
