We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2021, at the age of 103, Sarah Taylor Ney (Chattanooga, Tennessee) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Dorman A. Ney; her parents, Harry Thomas Taylor and Etta King Taylor; her siblings, Harry Charles, Mamie Jean, Alfred William, Robert Lee and Judge John Boone Taylor; her great grandchild Macy Ney Tolbert; and also Lee Anne Kafka.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dorma Ney Pomeroy, Missionary Ridge and Sharon Ney Tolbert (Terry) of Shrewsbury, MO; her grandsons, Charles Terry Tolbert II (Carolyn) of Marietta, GA., Christian Ney Tolbert (Shelly) of Wildwood, MO, Brett Alexander Pomeroy and Ryan Ney Pomeroy (Tracey) of Fayetteville, AR; her great grandchildren, Tyler William, Corey Charles, Emma Catherine Tolbert, Grace Ney, Addison Wesley, Sara Emerson, Piker Alexander Pomeroy, Ella James and Sydney Kaylyn Tolbert; her sister-in-law Jo Taylor of Las Vegas; and her nieces and nephews, Diane Taylor, Maureen Crampton of Las Vegas, Barbara Lemley (Glenn), Larry Taylor (Toni) and Steve Taylor (Dania) of Chattanooga.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Samaritan's Purse, PO Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607, in Mrs. Ney's name.
