He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd E. Ellison and Louise Biggs Ellison. He is survived by: his wife Pearl Shelley Ellison; his children, Daphne Haskett (Darren), Shelley Ellison and Eddie Ellison (Pam); his grandchildren, Ben Haskett and Myrrhande Haskett; his sister Charlotte Hill Vandergriff; and his aunt Clota Derrick. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
