She was predeceased by: her parents, John Brooks and Effie Brooks; and her husband Hubert Kidd. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Swafford (Ronald), Theresa Custer (Napoleon) and Shaun Kidd. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
