She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert "Bob" Crichton and Viola Crichton; her husband Herbert H. Hodges, Sr.; her son Herbert "Peppy" Hodges, Jr.; and her brother Bob Crichton.

She is survived by: her children, Teresa McConnell (Randy), Barry Hodges (Julie), Lynn Rife (Rick) and Lea Harper Wallace (Rodney); her daughter-in-law Carol Pursley Hodges; her grandchildren, Lindsay Forgey (Rob), Scott McConnell (Sarah), Josh McConnell (Rhea), Bethany Dilich (Adam), Brad Rife, Chris Rife (Miranda), Seth Harper, Ryanne Taylor (Greg), Casey Harper, Haley Pettit (Jim) and Samantha Hodges; and her brother Joe Crichton. She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
