She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Lee Gurney; her parents, Walter Lee Wooten and Beluah Wooten Pettyjohn; and her brothers, Truman Wooten and Eugene Wooten.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Pam Thompson (Bill Brock), Connie Wetter (David), Linda Cranfil (Gordon), Butch Wooten (Sue) and Bradley Wooten (Trish).
