He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lamar Kilgore and Mary Alice Brock Kilgore; his daughter Rhonda Kilgore; and his siblings, Brenda Smith, Donna Clayton, Debbie Callahan, Sandy Kilgore, Dwight Kilgore and Johnny Kilgore.
He is survived by: his wife Sammie Thompson-Kilgore; his sons, Donald Kilgore and Ronald Kilgore; his siblings, Sherrell Kilgore and Buford Kilgore (Linda); his grandchildren, Kristina Kilgore, Kassidy Sams (Nick), Delanee Tippens and Elizabeth McCabe; and his great grandchildren, Emalynn Sams and Harper Sams. He is also survived by three step-children; twelve step-grandchildren and one step-great grandson; many other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home-Ft. Oglethorpe Chapel (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of W. L. Wilson & Sons Funeral Home (555 W Cloud Springs Rd, Rossville, GA 30742).
