He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Kellogg Shepard; his daughter Jane M. Shepard Dill Sells; his parents, Robert Parker Sr. and Mona Shepard; and his siblings, Benjamin Sanborn Shepard, Marjorie and Mona.
He is survived by: his children, Eleanor M. Shepard (Daniel S. Amick) and Rob Shepard; and his grandson John R. Dill.
