It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Hamilton Robbins of Chattanooga, Tennessee, born in Birmingham, Alabama, who passed away on August 17, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Manley Robbins and Kathleen Hamilton Robbins; and his brothers, Jesse Manley Robbins, Jr. and David Tyler Robbins. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane "Janie" Robbins; his son Michael Jesse Robbins; his daughter-in-law Courtney Saunders Robbins; and his grandchildren, Ava Kathleen Robbins and Andrew Charles Robbins of Cleveland, Tennessee. He is also survived by two nephews, a niece, and four cousins.
